·2 years agoHi All..! I'm Nikhil Lonkalkar, currently working as a Technical Support Engineer-II at LM, bringing along 5.4 years of experience in the exciting world of Cloud and Technical Support. I reside in Pune, India.
When I'm not diving into tech challenges, you'll probably find me tending to my garden, hitting a cricket ball, cheering for my favorite cricket teams, or planning my next travel adventure.
Happy to be a part of the LM family!!🤩

Wanted to reach out and introduce myself, I am Ffyona (with two ff's) a CSM here at LM. I am driven by curiosity and a need to solve customer problems. I have recently joined LM and have a background in CSM with a company that enabled Enterprise customers to build out their network infrastructure globally.
I have recently moved to London and am enjoying meeting new people and exploring the city.
Ffyona welcome to the Community! Great to see our CSMs! If you have any questions LMK!

·2 years agoHello all,
I'm Jonathan/Jonny.
I've been with LM for around 5 months now in the Technical Support team (EMEA) but I've been working with the product for a few years, having implemented and worked with it as an admin at an MSP previously.
I live on the coast in the North East of England with my wife, 4 kids, cat and crazy collie. When I'm not busy with that bunch, I'm probably out watching some band or other, or attempting my own best impression of this guy...
Welcome Johny! Congrats on getting your Community Champion certification! Looks like you're a real Animal on the drums! 🤣
Toby Cropper
·2 years agoHi! My name is Toby Cropper and I am a Technical Support Engineer II here at LogicMonitor. I have been in the IT industry for many years, working with ISP’s and Telcos as well as in my own business.
I am based in the Texas Hill Country but I do enjoy traveling to Austin and enjoying the great Austin restaurants!
On a personal basis, I have 4 kids and we are always off on adventures to many places every few weekends!
I am looking forward to learning and offering what knowledge I can to those who need help on this community!
You had me at Star Trek and Alamo Drafthouse 😁. Several years ago I went to the original Alamo for a DogFishHead beer tasting. They played all the old commercials for Hamms Beer Bear and other oldies!
RStrayh
·2 years agoHello! As for my intro, my name is Ryan Strayhan, I am a Technical Support Engineer II here at LogicMonitor, I look forward to helping people out and spreading the knowledge of the LM platform. I have an IT career than spans 20 years.
I am Austin based, After my wife, my two big loves are Star Trek and coffee, but not always ini that order! I have a tattoo of the Enterprise on my left arm and a caffeine molecule on my right shoulder.
We love movies, especially old favorites. In fact, we are going to see ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas” this weekend at the Alamo Drafthouse.
We have a whippet and an orange tabby that basically ignore each other. Our whippet, Ladybug, is a hyper-energetic pooch, though our cat, Red, is 100% lap-cat and has a meow that’s reminiscent of Stevie Nick's singing voice.
Looking forward to spreading knowledge and learning all I can about LM and those in the community!
Welcome @TimC and @Sarah Burcham!

·3 years agoHello LogicMonitor Community!
My name is Shea and I am a support engineer here at LogicMonitor. I am in my second year with LM and love it! I have been in Texas about 15 months now and am happy for the sunshine 🌞. I previously lived in the Detroit area for 5 years working for a business ISP, so my background is heavily in networking. In my free time i’m seeking out new artists to listen to, grilling almost daily, and staying active in whatever way I can find. I also wrestled for 10+ years of my life and am considering picking up Jiu Jitsu to scratch the grappling itch!
I’m looking forward to working with you all!

·3 years agoHi everyone!
I’m Jasmine and I am a Solutions Engineer with LogicMonitor’s Professional Services Team!
I’m a big foodie, so I love seeing all the conversations around food, though it is also making me hungry!
Over the last couple years, I picked up various craft related hobbies, currently teaching myself a few different fiber arts and now that the warmer weather is returning to the southeast of the United States, my wife and I are trying our hand at a little bit of backyard gardening. We are watching the first harvest of our blueberries start to grow and hope to be putting a bunch of summer fruits and veggies out in the raised beds over the next couple of weeks.
My wife is yearning to get back to gardening. We had a 4x4 bed and a 4x8 raised bed, at one point. We grew: tomatoes, cucumber, zucchini, watermelon, bell peppers, mint, okra, sweet potato, and ginger. Was a great time.

My name is Jeff Quinn, and I am a Technical Support Engineer based on the US Support Team in Austin, TX. Im new to LM I’ve been here two months but I’m glad to have this opportunity and be in my first real world IT job.
Whenever I’m not on the clock, I like to watch basketball, get some gaming in and travel to new and exotic places, as I’m a nomad at heart.
Looking forward to contributing to the Community with y’all!
Yo Jeff, traveling is close to my heart as well. Where is your most memorable travel destination?
It would have to be Thailand, just because of cost. Food is extremely inexpensive, and there are many excursions you can do that are not that expensive as well.

·3 years agoHowdy!
I’m an LM Technical Support Engineer with our US team here in Austin, TX. I’ve been in Austin my entire life, and with LogicMonitor for just under a year now!
Aside from my career with LogicMonitor, I’ve been getting into FDM and SLA 3D printing, which always offers new challenges and experiences every time you start a project.
Glad to be here in the community!
Glad to see more 3D Makers in the Community! I’ve got a good handful of machines myself; Ender 5 Plus on the FDM side and then everything from a Sonic Mini 4K up to an Elegoo Jupiter on the SLA front (though I’m making room to get the Jupiter unboxed still, it’s a beast!) What machines are you running, what do you primarily print?

·3 years agoHey y’all! A little late to the party but long time lurker in the community - I’m Sara Casares and I’m a Enterprise CSM on the MSP side of the business. I recently moved from Austin to San Antonio, and I can confirm the best breakfast tacos are in San Antonio! (Sorry Austin 😕)
I’ve been with LogicMonitor since December 2020. In my free time, I enjoy going to see concerts and taking my pups, Peaches and Dinky, on hikes. I’m excited to get to know everyone!
I don’t disagree about SA having the best breakfast (or any) tacos! But the real question is which restaurant is the best?
For breakfast tacos, I personally will go out of my way to hit up Eddie’s Taco House. Their flour tortillas are superior. But for lunch/dinner tacos, Taquitos West Ave and El Pastor Es Mi Señor are my OGs. I checked out Tacos Vitali this weekend though and I would say they might be the best ones I’ve had in the city. It’s their first restaurant in the US and it’s sooo good.
I love El Pastor and Tacos Vitali is on my list now! Thanks!

·3 years agoHello everyone! My name is David Medina and I am the Head of Global Support @ LM. I have been here for about 8.5 years now, so probably have talked to quite a few of you already via Support or Pro Services calls throughout the years!
I love providing outstanding support to our customers and it has been a passion of mine to drive quality in support for the last 8+ years here. If you have any suggestions on how to improve that experience I welcome all feedback. I unfortunately don’t have a jeep either, but I got a pretty sweet action figure collection so feel free to ask me about that anytime too!
What kind of action figures?

·3 years agoHi everyone,
I’m new to the LM team at my company, CBTS, based in Cincinnati, OH so I’m learning everything from the ground up and having a great time, so far. Alas! I don’t own a jeep. My husband and I love the outdoors, as well, but experience it by glamping in a tricked-out 5th wheel RV named Ruby with our two dogs, a Shih Tzu named Eva and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Bailey.

·3 years agoIndeed. Perhaps the first community super-user outing should be out to Hidden Falls!
OK… So My wife and I are looking to be in the Austin area sometime during the last week in March. Visiting family in the Houston area, then over the New Orleans before heading back North. We are driving and will have the jeep in the Austin area… probably either Saturday or Sunday March 25/26. This wheeling trip in Marble Falls might be able to happen somewhat soonish.
Alright, i’ve got it tentatively on my calendar for Mar 25. I’ll likely be going and we can meet up if nothing else. Link.

Admin3 years ago@bballard I’m not much for sports but I do love food; what’re the top three things that you make when tailgating?
@Richard Brooke I’ve got to admit I’m jealous of your judging and the breadth of beer you must have tried as part of it. I like to think MN has a pretty thriving and top-tier beer community, have you ever come across any stand-out brews from my neck of the woods? What would you say are your top pours and/or breweries out there now?

Admin3 years ago@chris.lenz the top three things for tailgating are brats, burgers and beer. I’d do meat pies, which would be more appropriate for rugby, but no oven in the Sprinter and microwaved pies don’t quite cut it.

·3 years agoHi everyone, great to meet you all, my name is Charley and I’m a Customer Success Manager based in the UK! I was one of our first people on the ground in EMEA back in 2015 and was here for 3 years before exploring some other roles … however I knew I’d end up back at LM as I love the product, the culture, and the community. I re-joined in January 2022 and am very excited to continue working with everyone.
On a personal note I live in the 6th smallest city in the UK, and our cathedral featured on the album cover for The Division Bell by Pink Floyd! I have a 2 year old rescue dog from Cyprus called Toula who arrived just before Christmas 2022, and I am half kiwi!

Admin3 years agoHello! - A quick intro, my name is Richard Brooke, I am a Technical Trainer here at Logicmonitor, I look forward to help in spreading the work and knowledge of the LM platform.
I am Chicago based, I love Chicago, I have traveled the world and I consider Chicago a top word class city, but I am an avid skier and well its awful for skiing, we got great snow but not much downhill. Besides skiing, I am active the the beer/brewing community. I help run and judge in one of the top 5 competitions, in the US The United States Beer Tasting Championships - www.usbtc.com.
Looking forward to spreading the knowledge of LM

Admin3 years agoGreetings all. I’m fairly new to LogicMonitor as a Technical Trainer. I’m hoping I will get to know many of you over the next few years.
I live in the Salt Lake City, Utah area and in my spare time I enjoy the many outdoor activities in the area. My wife and I try to get outdoors as much as we can. In addition, I’m an avid follower of Australian Rules Football (AFL), having lived there in the past and was indoctrinated into the sport back at the Ansett Cup of 2000. I am an international member of two senior AFL clubs and have been for 19 years now. I have even played the sport when living in Denver, Colorado and building a fledgling USAFL team (unfortunately now defunct).
Here in Salt Lake, we unfortunately don’t have a USAFL team to follow, but do have Major League Rugby’s Utah Warriors. My wife and I are both members of the Warriors Ohana supporters group and try to get to as many games as we can, frequently hosting tail gating in the parking lot with our Sprinter camper van.
Before I rattle on too much, I’ll stop at this point. I look forward to meeting and working with you all.
