Please provide example code for creating these via the v3 API.

Running assumption: the API is broken and this cannot be achieved, as only the V4 API permits this.

For others arriving at this point in the Rabbit hole, we eventually figured out the runes and you have to send in some additional query string runes. Implementation is now available open source here: https://github.com/panoramicdata/LogicMonitor.Api/

Uptime is just device, so use:
