Network logs Monitoring LM
Hi All,
We have a requirement to monitor few syslogs on network devices these are the steps we followed but dont see any syslogs in Lm portal.
1.Allow the collector IP to send the network device logs.
2.On the collector Agent.conf file we updaed these:
syslog
eventcollector.syslog.enable=true
eventcollector.syslog.threadpool=10
eventcollector.syslog.max.threadpool=50
eventcollector.syslog.queue=10000
eventcollector.syslog.udp.port=<Port>
eventcollector.syslog.tcp.port=<Port>
eventcollector.syslog.protocol=UDP
eventcollector.syslog.tcp.socket.timeout.minutes=5
Enable LM Logs
lmlogs.syslog.enabled=true
But still we don't see any syslogs coming in are there any additional setting to be configured,Tried but updaiting log collecotr from he resources page for the devices as well as with log sources but no luck so far.

·2 years agoDid you follow these instructions? I think with log sources, the manual modification of the collector's agent.conf file is no longer needed.

OP2 years agoWe are using Windows collectors and not Linux collectors

·2 years agoSo? They're configured the same on the LM side whether they're windows or linux collectors.
