Netapp AFF Ontap - Cannot Monitor

I am trying to monitor my netapps.
They are AFF running 9.16.
LM Version is 39.003
I Went off of this article:

I added the Properties as suggested.
I first get this:
COLL was unable to automatically discover NTAPP01. Select the system type and try again.
I then Choose the Tyoe of "Netapp Filer" and choose to enter credentials. The credentials are for an API account on the netapp.
I then retry discovery.
I then get the following:
"Warning
LogicMonitor needs the correct username/password for the NetApp API to monitor this NetApp filer. Please see instructions on setting up a username on your NetApp by searching for "NetApp FAS Monitoring" in the global support documentation. Alternatively, click Finish to add this resource with minimal monitoring."
I even tried the admin account on the netapps.
The FAS document is asking to use snmp / enable firewall / etc...
These are not FAS systems.
My previous netapps did not require this either.
Does anyone on know what the correct procedure is?

Support made sure I had the new modules installed. Ill double check.

·3 months agoWe're still using the LM properties netapp.pass and netapp.user, and it's working fine for our AFF on our netapps running ONTAP 9.15+. This is what our netapp user looks like:

User Name or Group Name: lm-user
Application: ontapi
Authentication Method: password
Remote Switch IP Address: -
Role Name: readonly
Account Locked: no
Comment Text: -
Whether Ns-switch Group: no
Second Authentication Method2: none
LDAP Fastbind Authentication: no
Maybe give that a go? In your link there is documentation on how to migrate from ZAPI to REST, but we haven't done it yet. I wonder if you're still running the old modules that need ZAPI-Based authentication?

·4 months agoI’m sorry you’re having an issue monitoring your NetApp All Flash FAS (AFF). Have you opened a support case for this and do you have the latest NetApp_ONTAP modules installed from the Modules Exchange?

Yes i have the latest modules installed.
I did open a case.
Support was not sure what steps are needed. They assume the the steps are in the following article.

I just want to make sure and not make unnecessary changes on a production Filer.
Previous Filer only required the API credentials.
