Device type (Windows/Linux)

Hi All ,

I am trying to onboard few devices in LogicMonitor & i have device details , 1 detail is listed below ,Please clarify below query :-

if OS Type is "WINDOWS 2012 R2 STANDARD EDITION" then is it a windows machine ?

If OS Type is "LINUX RHEL 7" then is it a Linux Machine ?

Yes, those are generally true, but I imagine there's more to your question. If you're referencing isWindows() and isLinux(), you'll find more detail here.
