LogicMonitor Certified Professional (LMCP) Certification Retiring on September 21, 2026
Summary: Sky Donnell announced that the LogicMonitor Certified Professional (LMCP) certification will be retired on September 21, 2026. Those currently pursuing the LMCP must complete the exam by this date. Certifications already earned will remain valid, but no new registrations will be accepted post-retirement. A new LogicMonitor Certification will be launched to reflect current platform capabilities.
As we prepare to launch a new LogicMonitor Certification, we'll be retiring the LogicMonitor Certified Professional (LMCP) certification on September 21, 2026.
If you're currently working toward the LMCP certification, here's what you need to know.
What does this mean?
The LMCP certification exam will remain available until September 21, 2026. After that date, the exam will no longer be offered.
If you're currently registered for the LMCP exam, you have until September 21 to complete it.
I already earned the LMCP certification. Does this affect me?
No. Your earned certification remains valid according to its existing terms. This announcement only affects new exam attempts after September 21, 2026.
I'm currently registered for the LMCP exam. What should I do?
Complete your exam before September 21, 2026. After that date, the exam will no longer be available.
Can I register for the LMCP after September 21?
No. New registrations will close when the certification is retired.
What happens if I don't finish before September 21?
Any incomplete LMCP exam registrations will expire when the certification is retired. To earn a LogicMonitor certification after that date, you'll need to pursue the new certification program.
