UiV4 Resource/Alerts Page Functionality for Acking Alerts Needs to be like UiV3
Summary: John Glasscock expressed concerns about the changes in alert acknowledgment functionality in UiV4 compared to UiV3, describing it as more tedious and detrimental for operations. The process now requires more steps and manual actions, which affects efficiency. Asher Guinzy supported this request, agreeing that the new changes are problematic.
For the resource tree and alerts pages in UiV3, whenever selecting multiple alerts to acknowledge, the process was as follows:
Select alerts
Hit ack button
Type Ack note (the cursor is already in the text box after pressing the ack button)
Hit save
The alerts list automatically refreshes and the acked alerts are deselected when this action is performed
In UiV4, this process is more tedious and slow - seemingly a step backwards in functionality.
Select alerts
Hit action button
Hit ack button
You need to click in the text box to begin typing the ack note
Hit save
List does not automatically refresh, and alerts acked stay selected (more clicks to deselect and refresh the alerts list)
For someone working in operations and primarily using LM to acknowledge alerts - this change in functionality is detrimental, the process takes more time, and more clicks to accomplish the same task that was more straightforward in the previous UI version.
Please bring back the previous functionality of these pages.

·1 month agoagreed and this is just the tip of the iceberg with the UiV4 issues. It's like we went backwards here.
