There should be a way to globally SDT a specific website checkpoint when there's a backbone internet outage.

Earlier this afternoon there was some sort of internet outage affecting something between Oregon and our websites. ALl of our External website checks blew up and we have 100+ alerts. I wanted to simple SDT the Oregon checkpoint but found out there's no way to do that.
If I set an SDT on a site manually, I can choose which checkpoint I want to SDT. However, if I set the SDT on a group, I do not get that option. Why is that? There should be the same option when editing a group as when I edit an individual site.
Please add that same option and let me choose to only SDT a specific checkpoint.
