Save Column Widths as Part of Saved Alert Views
Summary: Allen Lea requests the addition of a feature on the LogicMonitor Alerts page that would allow users to save manually adjusted column widths as part of a saved view. They highlight that while other configurations can be saved, column widths are not retained, which affects screen efficiency and information visibility. The ability to save these configurations would be beneficial for NOC and Operations personnel to maintain efficient, consistent alert views, especially for display purposes.
Please add the ability to save manually configured column widths as part of a saved view on the LogicMonitor Alerts page. The Alerts page currently allows users to select columns, arrange their order, apply filters, and save the resulting configuration as a named alert view. However, manually adjusted column widths do not appear to be consistently retained as part of the saved view.
When columns are wider than necessary, they consume valuable screen space and reduce the amount of information visible in more descriptive columns. Hiding the narrower columns is not an appropriate solution because the information is still operationally important.
Saving column widths would allow NOC and Operations personnel to create more efficient alert layouts, especially for Dashboard slideshows, display more useful alert information on one screen, and maintain a consistent monitoring view across shifts and browser sessions.
