Proxmox/KVM Monitoring
Summary: The discussion revolves around the need for Proxmox VE/Backup and DCM integrations, especially considering recent VMware/Broadcom issues. Peter Hakesley and others express interest in a roadmap for these integrations, noting a shift from VMware to Proxmox among customers. Peter Proost and Chris Mitchell emphasize the necessity of these integrations. Andres Lopez shares their experience of migrating to Proxmox, citing client demand for similar insights provided by VMware modules. Meanwhile, Phillip Green mentions developing a beta LogicModule for Proxmox VE Enterprise and invites collaboration for testing on a cluster.
We would find it useful if there was support for KVM/Proxmox virtualization platforms as they are becoming more popular with recent changes in the VMware licensing landscape.

·1 month agoI know I'm late to the party but I'm building a LogicModule to support ProxMox VE Enterprise clusters. This isn't supported by LogicMonitor and it's a first run beta but if there is anyone with a test cluster that wants to try it, let me know.

·1 month agoI agree with Chris that this is an absolute necessity.
We are currently migrating to Proxmox from VMware, and we have many clients asking us to do the same. Having the insight that the current VMware Modules provide for Proxmox would be a huge win.

·8 months agoWith the current VMWare/Broadcom issues I have seen a number of our customers evaluate and consider migrating to ProxMox VE/Backup and DCM. Has LM got a roadmap of integrations for these products as I believe we will see this become requested in the coming months.
