Enhance the Inventory Tab: Add More Sections and Property Search for Improved Access to Resources and Information.
We would like to request an enhancement to the Inventory section to provide more flexibility when viewing and exporting resource information.
Requested enhancements:
Customizable Inventory Export
Provide additional options/fields that users can select when downloading the Inventory. Users should be able to choose which resource attributes, properties, system information, and other available fields should be included in the export based on their requirements.Property Search in Inventory
Add a property-based search/filter option within the Inventory tab, allowing users to search resources using any available resource property or custom property and retrieve the corresponding information directly in the Inventory.Avoid Dependency on Reports
Currently, when we need to retrieve information based on a specific resource property, we often have to go to the Reports section and create/configure a report. A property search capability directly within Inventory would make this process much faster and more efficient.
Example:
If we need to identify all devices having a specific property such as location, circuit.id, device.type, vendor, or any custom property, we should be able to search/filter directly from Inventory and export the resulting information.
This enhancement would significantly improve inventory management, operational efficiency, troubleshooting, auditing, and bulk data retrieval, especially in large environments with thousands of monitored resources.
