Can we get the Platform Release Notes updated before rolling it out, or at least when it rolls.
Again I'm looking at a new release, 236 in Dev , in my case, and there's no platform notes. Only the announcement it was being rolled out starting on the 23rd.

·5 months agoI've made this comment several times that the Platform Release Notes should be sent out well before production is updated. At one point, our CSM was emailing us the notes (poorly formatted - not their fault) but I've since changed companies.

Our current process is to publish Platform Release Notes with the initial production rollout, not in advance. For v236, the release notes were published on March 30 when production deployment began.
What you were seeing at the time was the version in a pre-production sandbox environment, which received v236 ahead of your production environment. Your production instance is scheduled for v236 on April 8, and you should receive an in-product notification before that rollout.
We also agree that the timing could have been clearer, so we are reviewing the in-product messaging and related Community communication to make the timing of the release notes easier to understand going forward. Thanks again for raising this.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah if the new release notes are made available inside sandbox environments that could also work. Kinda defeats having the test environment if there's changes being made and we don't know what they were for over a week.
