LM Logs and LM Inspector SKU Consolidation
Summary: Tina Reynolds announced that LogicMonitor is consolidating the LM Logs and LM Inspector products under a single name, Log Inspector, effective October 1, 2026. The LM Logs SKUs will reach End of Sale, and customers will transition to the Log Inspector SKU upon renewal or purchasing additional log commitments. This change aims to simplify the customer experience without impacting current usage, functionality, or pricing. No immediate action is required from customers, and further assistance can be obtained from their LogicMonitor account team.
In an effort to provide a more simplified product experience for our customers, LogicMonitor is consolidating the LM Logs and LM Inspector product names and SKUs under a single product name: Log Inspector.
Changes Effective October 1, 2026?
LM Logs SKUs reach End of Sale, and will no longer be available for quoting, purchase, or renewal.
LM Inspector SKUs renamed Log Inspector.
Existing customers on LM Logs or LM Inspector SKUs will continue using the same Logs service, and will transition to a Log Inspector SKU at renewal or when purchasing additional log commitments.
Minor product UI naming updates will be introduced in upcoming LogicMonitor releases to align the product experience with the new Log Inspector name.
Important: This change does not retire LogicMonitor’s Logs functionality. It is a product naming and SKU consolidation only.
Why Is LogicMonitor Making This Change?
Consolidating LM Logs and LM Inspector under the Log Inspector name will provide a simpler and more consistent customer experience by:
Reducing confusion between the existing Logs product names
Aligning product, quoting, billing, and documentation terminology
Providing clearer positioning for LogicMonitor’s Logs offering
Simplifying the management of Logs products across LogicMonitor systems
What Does This Mean for You?
A more simplified product experience, with:
No impact to your current Logs usage or functionality
No change to pricing as a result of this update
No product migration or configuration changes required
No interruption to your existing Logs service
You will begin to see the Log Inspector name reflected in the LogicMonitor product UI, renewal documentation, quotes, and billing line items as the consolidation is implemented.
Timing
October 1, 2026: LM Logs and LM Inspector SKUs reach End of Sale and will no longer be available for new quoting or purchase.
Upcoming LogicMonitor releases: Minor product UI naming updates will be implemented.
At renewal or when purchasing additional log commitments: Existing Logs customers will transition to the corresponding Log Inspector SKU.
What Do You Need to Do?
No action is required at this time. Your LogicMonitor account team will coordinate the SKU update with you as part of your renewal, or if you purchase additional log commitments.
