Modify the Add a User process (PWD requirement)
When adding a new user to LogicMonitor, the admin must create a password. the only way that the new user can get the password is if the admin e-mails it to them - however there is no indication that this needs to happen.
It would be better if the Add a User process created a randomly generated, time bombed password that is sent with the e-mail to the new user.

·12 years agoGood point.rnWe will probably add in two password flows - one where the admin enters the password, so he can tell the user (or use it himself, if its for things like a NOC screen display); and one where he does not enter a password, and the user gets a link telling them to create one.rnWe have customers that could not accept emailing a password to the new user for security reasons.rnIn the interim, you could just tell the user their username, and tell them to use the I forgot my password link, which will send them a link to set their password.rnAs an interim workaround, you could
