New support bot

The new "improved" AI Support Bot does not work correctly. 

Example:

The original AI chat bot never worked, and apparently the new improved AI chat bot doesn't work either. 

Can you just put a button on the support site to open a ticket in rich text?

  • I can't even start a chat, so you guys are one step ahead of me.  I have no link to open a chat or anything.

      Hey eleaman, I've messaged you on this issue to investigate.

  • Yeah, UX/UI is not a priority here. I have other issues with "new" bot as well (reported to support). That support portal looks like some different tools were wired together somehow without high level concept only because someone decided to used them.

    This bot widget should be available directly in the customer LM portal in the corner, so customer can ask dumb questions (which can be answered directly by AI) directly there without going to another portal. If I'm going to support portal, then it should be opened at the top, because majority of the users are going there to get a support. Now that main function of support portal is a list of all user tickets, support widget is in the corner.
    Bot should have all current LM knowledge, code snippets should in the response be formatted as a code, ....

    Honest review of new bot: yeah it is a minor improvement, but it is missed opportunity to impress with worse UX :-(

      Hey jangaraj, the previous support bot/platform required us to move out of the LM Envision portal. This new solution allows us more flexibility on where we can place the widget. I agree that having this widget within the product would be a better experience and am currently working on the the feasibility of that process. I appreciate your comment!

  • Update: I was able start a case in the little chat window by selecting the button (in the chat) of "Create a ticket case". After filling out the form, it just keeps looping:

      Ticket created. For anyone that runs into this issue: You have to: 
      1). Select the create a ticket case button. You might be able to type it in

      2). After filling out the initial portion of the ticket and hitting enter, it will prompt if you want to upload. Don't type anything in. Instead hit the hyperlink. In my case, I skipped the upload. 

      That will allow you to open a ticket.
